It’s not about being a Trump lover, I love Democracy and my Freedom.

Maybe you’re confused. I am not a Trump lover. I am a democracy lover. A ruler follower to the T. I always expect the best from someone, and I always expect someone to do the right thing. Living with a 2nd grade teacher, she does too. And I will tell you, we are disappointed on a constant basis by humanity, friends, family, and sometimes a neighbor.

Somewhere along the way we have forgotten how to do the “right thing.” And about caring for your fellow man. Something as simple as holding the door for a stranger has even disappeared.

And when I discuss a stolen election, yes, I agree that some people voted for a change. Maybe you were tired of mean tweets, or you were uninformed and thought that there was racist in the white house. What you failed to do is do your own research. During his tenure, we saw the highest income and lowest unemployment for black Americans in our history. And we didn’t lose a single soldier in any type of conflict in his 4 years as president, and he was not involved in any war. There was peace in the middle east for the first time in our lives.

So, I have to think that some people bought into the headlines. All of those headlines have now been debunked. No Russia collusion. Not an agent of Russia. No quid-pro-quo with Ukraine (unlike Joe Biden on camera). Yet all of those things were paraded in front of Americans to influence your decision. Why haven’t we had the discussion about the election? The drop boxes? The inaccurate ballot totals where the number of ballots returned exceed the number of registered voters? There can only be one reason, and you know what it is. Wouldn’t you like to know?

So don’t look at me as a “Trump lover.” My eyes don’t lie. I see tens of thousands of Americans at a rally before a presidential election for one candidate, and I see less than 30 for the other one. And that’s counting his secret service detail! You did not win an election with no support. No sea of people clamoring for “change.” There were no stadiums full of people begging for someone to “unite the country.” This was a fabrication.Did my friends and family vote for this mess? Maybe. But they had no idea that it was going to be this bad. No one did.

Now we have a clear attack on our Democracy. A REAL one, not a Nancy Pelosi talking point given out to the media mob to repeat 1,000 times a day. Our founding fathers fled England for this very reason, and here we are dealing once again with a party acting as if it were a king.

Democracy is not just about having the right to vote or express our opinions. It is about working together to build a better future for ourselves and future generations. Your kids, and your grandkids. It is about recognizing that we all have a role to play in shaping the world around us, and that our actions have consequences.

At its core, democracy is about doing the right thing, even when it may be inconvenient or uncomfortable. It is about standing up for the marginalized and the vulnerable, and ensuring that everyone no matter what their color or zip code is, that they have a voice. It is about being fair and letting the people make the choice.

Another form of political abuse using our legal system is the use of selective prosecution. This occurs when politicians use their power to selectively prosecute individuals or groups who oppose them or their policies. This can be done by using vague or overly broad laws to target individuals or groups, or by selectively enforcing laws against certain individuals or groups while ignoring others who engage in similar conduct.

Political abuse using our legal system not only undermines the rule of law, but also erodes public trust and confidence in our legal system. It is important that we hold our politicians accountable for their actions and ensure that they do not abuse their power for political gain.

When I complain of the treatment of Trump, it is because we are clearly seeing a political party abusing their power, the power that we as citizens gave them. And if they can do that to a former president, none of us are immune, no matter your color or party affiliation. We are not divided. We all want the best for our families, our community, and the future of this country. But until we start standing up and saying enough is enough, we are going to continue down this slippery slope. It is up to us as citizens to speak out against this abuse and hold our politicians accountable for their actions.
