Besides 2020, the special election in August was probably the biggest farce election that we have ever experienced in Ohio.
Clearly, the big bad MISINFORMATION machine has been perfected, and unfortunately, a segment of the population refuses to educate themselves, instead, they get their news via a headline. You are doing a disservice to yourself and your fellow citizens as a voter when you do not know the real facts.
I found this in a stack of junk mail in my shred pile from an organization calling themselves “Voter Participation Center.” Read this first paragraph about the special election on August 8th. Tell me what you see. Do you see what I see? This went out to educators all over the state. How many of them read this first paragraph and then made their decision on how they were going to vote?
It should be ILLEGAL to mail information like this out to the general public and the creators of this mailer should face penalties.
FYI. For those who don’t know and won’t take the time to find out what the real vote was about. The vote was to change from a 50+1 majority to a 60% supermajority in order to change the Ohio Constitution. This is required in order to change the US Constitution and it should be the same in Ohio.
