The Omicron variant was first discovered in South Africa in November 2021 and spread throughout the country over a matter of days, sending the whole world into a panic. For some reason, the world seems to have stopped paying attention to South Africa because the Omicron variant seems to have already started to fade very rapidly. Why isn’t this on the news? Why aren’t we hearing about the rapid decline of infections, or the lack of hospitalizations and deaths? So we fear a new variant, but we don’t celebrate that it is fading quickly. That should tell you that this is ALL about control and not a virus.
